Code Camp - UNEC
The “CodeCamp” project, jointly implemented by Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) and Matrix Academy, is designed to help university students gain practical Front-End programming skills and prepare for the professional workforce.
The project received more than 300 applications, and following a multi-stage selection process, 25 students were selected for a 4-month Front-End programming training program. During the training, participants learned JavaScript, ReactJS, Redux, and other modern technologies while working on real-world projects.
At the end of the project, students presented their projects and received certificates. Five participants started internships in the professional workforce before completing the project.
“CodeCamp” is an example of university–private sector collaboration that supports not only the development of students’ technical skills but also their integration into the labor market and access to career opportunities.
